Who We Are
ACS was founded in 1995 with the goal of providing the insurance defense industry with a professional and reliable investigative source. ACS is a regional firm specializing in gathering and reporting crucial information necessary for timely and informed claims decisions.

Investigative Services Division:
The ACS Investigative Services Division offers investigative support to insurance companies, self-insured, third party administrators and law firms. The mission of ACS is to support claim specialists with field fact gathering.
In workers compensation, this generally involves issues of compensability and disability. Property and casualty claims usually involve site investigations and in-person interviews of witnesses to document what happened and who is responsible. When evidence of fraudulent behavior is uncovered it is turned over to specialized fraud investigators to pursue prosecution.
How it Works:
The ACS staff has been carefully selected and trained to work in partnership with the claims specialist. Our investigators are responsible for conducting complete professional investigations within time frames designed to give claim specialists the right information at the right time so they can make effective claims management decisions. Claims investigations should be considered on all questionable, suspicious, un-witnessed, and catastrophic claims.
Upon completion of a claims investigation there are certain cases that may warrant further investigation. In these cases activity checks and/or surveillance is recommended to document the claimants activities in order to determine if they are contrary to his or her alleged injury.
